Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Step 2
For the pound cake, beat the butter until creamy, add the LA LECHERA® Dulce de Leche, the eggs one at a time, the all-purpose flour, the baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, the banana puree, ½ cup CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, and ¾ cup of walnuts.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold. Bake at 350° F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean; let it cool.
Step 4
For the frosting, beat the cheese until creamy, add NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk, 1 ½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon, and continue beating until well combined; refrigerate for 15 minutes. Decorate the pound cake with the frosting, banana slices, and the remaining walnuts. Enjoy.
It is important to refrigerate the frosting to have the perfect consistency. You can substitute the cinnamon with nutmeg.
