Make It
Step 1
In a pot, heat the water with the NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, butter, and vanilla extract until the butter is melted. Add the all-purpose flour and ¼ cup of sugar and mix vigorously with a spatula until a dough forms that pulls away from the sides of the pot.
Step 2
Place the dough in a mixer and beat until it cools slightly. Add the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Carefully squeeze the piping bag to form the churros and cut to the desired length with scissors. Heat the oil and fry the churros until they are lightly golden. Place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 3
Mix the remaining sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle the churros with the sugar mixture. Serve with a bit of LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk.
If you don't have a piping bag and nozzle, you can form balls of dough using a spoon. You can add a little cocoa powder to the dough to make chocolate churros.
