Step 1
Place dry milk, flour and baking powder in a bowl; mix well.
Step 2
Add La Lechera, ghee and 1/2 teaspoon cardamom; mix well.
Step 3
Form mixture into balls.
Step 4
Heat oil in a medium skillet; fry Gulab Jamun balls until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 5
Place sugar, water, rose water, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder and lemon slices into a medium saucepan.
Step 6
Boil, stirring frequently, until sugar is melted.
Step 7
Once syrup is thick, remove lemon slices.
Step 8
Add Gulab Jamun into syrup and stir gently to coat.
