Step 1
Spoon dulce de leche into large bowl; stir in salt.
Step 2
Beat cream in large mixer bowl until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Stir small amount of whipped cream into dulce de leche mixture to lighten. Add remaining whipped cream to dulce de leche mixture and fold until combined.
Step 4
Transfer mixture into freezer-safe container, smoothing down top. Cover with a piece of wax or parchment paper (this helps prevent ice crystals from forming); cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Best enjoyed within 2 weeks.
