A STORY BREWED SLOWLY





BOLD BEGINNINGS
We started in the '70s as Stewart Brothers Coffee, brewing surprisingly smooth coffee with just a 12-pound peanut roaster on Seattle's Pier 70.

BECOMING SEATTLE'S BEST COFFEE
We soon moved to Vashon Island and made smooth-roasted coffee for stores across Seattle. After winning a competition, for the “best cup of coffee in Seattle” because of our notably smooth taste, we changed our name to Seattle’s Best Coffee.

OUR FIRST BLEND AS SEATTLE'S BEST COFFEE
Our inaugural signature blend was named after a cat named Henry who liked using our roasters to stay warm in the cold, Seattle winter. He soon became the inspiration for Henry’s Blend®, the first of many smooth blends we’d sell under our new name.

Over the past 50 years, we’ve remained committed to being the best cup of smooth-roasted coffee for you. We’ve perfected our signature roasting process while living up to our name and staying true to our roots in stores nationwide.
