The Tombstone Tap, aptly named because there was a cemetery across the street.

TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION

The owner of Tombstone Tap, Joe Simek, loved to dance. Problem was, he wasn’t very good and broke his leg—so he learned to make pizzas to pass the time.

LOCAL LEGENDS TO NATIONAL SUCCESS

Word got out about Tombstone pizza and Joe started delivering it all over Wisconsin. Then in 1994 Tombstone went national for everyone to enjoy.
